Introduction
The Faculty of Law and Political Science of Ghalib University Herat is one of the academic and specialized units of this higher education institution that operates with the aim of training specialized, committed, and efficient personnel in the fields of law and political science. Since its establishment, this faculty has played an effective role in training specialized human resources for government and non-governmental institutions. Ghalib University began its academic and educational activities on 26th of Sawr 1391 and in the first of Jawza of the same year, its courses officially started. Within the framework of this university, the Faculty of Law and Political Science, with its organized academic structure and standard educational programs, has provided the ground for education and research for students. This faculty has two graduating departments, including the Department of Political Science and International Relations and the Department of Law, and one non-graduating department called the Legal Clinic. Over the past fourteen years, this faculty has presented more than 644 students to the society through thirteen graduation periods. Graduates of this faculty have been employed in various government sectors, judicial and legal institutions, non-governmental organizations, and other related fields and have been able to gain a suitable position in the job market. Currently, the Faculty of Law and Political Science, with the benefit of permanent academic staff at master's and doctoral levels, along with administrative and service staff, is engaged in providing educational and research services. The presence of specialized and committed professors has provided the ground for improving the quality of education and developing scientific activities. Among the most important facilities and privileges of this faculty are a dedicated library, access to scientific and educational resources, establishing academic relations with government institutions and non-governmental organizations, and providing legal clinic services.

Dean's Message
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Master of the Messengers, and upon his family and companions all together. One of the major challenges facing developing countries is the lack of specific and guiding programs. Working without a program is like shooting an arrow without aiming and walking a path without a light. The Faculty of Law and Political Science of Ghalib University Herat wants to take purposeful steps in the light of a strategic plan (strategic plan) towards the advancement of knowledge and culture and to play its part in the flourishing and economic and social development of society. The Faculty of Law and Political Science of Ghalib University Herat has reached a new stage of progress in the field of education and research in law and political science, and this has undoubtedly been foreseen in the five-year strategic plan of this faculty. The strategic plan focuses on improving the quality of education, updating educational programs, promoting research activities, and expanding relations, and has been formulated as a comprehensive strategy for advancing the mission and objectives of the university. In preparing this plan, members of the academic staff, employees, students, graduates, related individuals and institutions have played an effective and fruitful role through coordination and comprehensive cooperation, which are vital for achieving common goals and improving the quality of education and research. We are aware of the importance of this strategic plan and believe that this plan can have a profound impact on the development of knowledge, research, and our society. This plan should serve as the fundamental basis for achieving strategic objectives and our commitments in the field of education quality, research, and training of professional legal, political, and administrative staff for the development and advancement of our society.
