Najibullah Fariwar
Biography
Najibullah Fariwar, son of Jan Mohammad, formerly a professor in the Department of Dari Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Herat University, and currently the General Advisor of Ghalib University, Herat, was born in the spring of 1334 SH (1955) in one of the beautiful and verdant villages of Paghman District, Kabul Province, into a government employee family. Fariwar began his studies at the age of eight at the Karteh Parwan Primary School in Kabul City; since his esteemed father was a government employee, he studied up to the twelfth grade in the provinces of Parwan, Kabul, Kunar, Badghis, and Ghazni, graduating from Hakim Sana'i Ghaznawi High School in 1354 SH. After passing the Kankor examination in 1355 SH, he was admitted to the Faculty of Language, Literature and Humanities at Kabul University and studied literary sciences in the Department of Dari Language and Literature. At Ghalib, as an institution that has successfully passed the third stage of accreditation and obtained academic certification, we hope to take bigger and more confident steps by utilizing available resources, not only keeping pace with the top universities in the country but also securing our position among the most prestigious universities in the region and the world. Abdul Hamid Jawinda
Biography
Abdul Hamid Jawinda was born in 1378 SH (1999) into a religious and cultured family in Ghor Province, Afghanistan. He completed his primary and secondary education at Sultan Alauddin Ghori High School. In 1402 SH, he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science from Ghalib University, Herat, and is currently pursuing his Master's degree.

The Office of Presidency & Communications at Ghalib University, Herat, is responsible for coordinating presidential affairs and internal and external communications, and representing the university at academic and cultural events. It connects the presidency with academic, administrative and student units.

Achievements & Services
Ghalib University, Herat, is one of the prestigious educational institutions in Afghanistan that has seen various presidents since its establishment. The achievements of the former presidents of Ghalib University from its founding to the present can be examined in various forms. Many presidents, alongside establishing new departments, focused on improving and developing existing academic programs and strengthening the research culture at the university. Some presidents succeeded in establishing collaborations with international universities, which led to obtaining international scholarships and organizing joint workshops and seminars. Some presidents focused on increasing student admission capacity and created programs to attract more students, while others were interested in creating social service programs and connecting with the local community. Efforts to improve the university's physical infrastructure, including building new classrooms, buildings, laboratories, and libraries, were always a priority for former presidents. These are among the achievements that were prioritized during different presidential terms. These achievements demonstrate the continuous efforts of the presidents of Ghalib University, Herat, to elevate the level of education and research at this institution. Ghalib University, from its founding in 1389 SH to today, has recorded the service of 6 presidents in its records. Each of these presidents rendered valuable and commendable services during their terms of responsibility.
